Road Ready sits alongside your pickup, it does not gate it. Nothing is blocked if a hirer does not complete it, and staff can enter a code by hand at the counter. See the integration in detail.
Setup takes two minutes
Turn on the Road Ready module, paste in your agency code, choose who sees it. That is the whole job. Nothing is seeded, nothing is hard-coded, and it stays invisible to your customers until your code is in.

Questions
Do I need a Road Ready account?
Yes. Your agency code comes from Road Ready NZ directly, not from us, and it is what makes the links personalised to you. Talk to them at https://roadreadynz.com/. Until you have entered that code in Glovebox, the whole feature stays invisible to your customers, so there is no half-configured state where someone gets sent a broken link.
Does it work for domestic hirers too?
You decide, by the country that issued the licence. Out of the box it shows to overseas licences only, since that is who Road Ready is aimed at, so a New Zealand driver is not asked to sit through a briefing meant for visitors. You can switch it to everyone, or to a specific set of countries, on the settings page.
What if a driver skips it?
Nothing is blocked. Road Ready sits alongside your pickup, it does not gate it. The booking simply has no code against it, and the readiness tile on the booking shows that at a glance so your team can see who has done it and who has not. If they complete it at the counter, staff can type the code in. If it does not apply to a particular hire, you can mark it not required for that booking, and put it back again later.
Can I move across from the system I am on now?
Yes. Bookings, customers and vehicles come across, and we do the work with you rather than handing you a CSV template and wishing you luck. Mid-season moves are normal.
What does Glovebox cost?
It depends on fleet size, and the Road Ready integration is included on every plan at no extra cost. Whatever arrangement you have with Road Ready NZ for the briefing itself is between you and them: we do not resell it or take a margin on it.
Is it built and supported in New Zealand?
Yes. Built in Aotearoa, for New Zealand operators. GST is 15% and native rather than a setting, RUC sits where a local operator expects it, and the people who answer your email are the people who build it. We also run our own rental fleet on it.
