Windcave first for NZ card flows, Stripe Connect alongside where it suits. Deposits and balances captured on schedule before pickup, bonds held as a pre-authorisation and released on return, and every tax invoice synced to Xero.

Walk around the vehicle on a phone and capture each angle before the keys change hands. Photos, odometer, fuel and a signature land straight on the booking, at pickup and again on return, so a damage dispute ends before it starts.
Not renting cars? The handover adapts to what you hire — a bike or kayak drops licence and fuel, a trailer keeps its plate.

- Is Glovebox only for cars?
- No. Cars, campervans, boats, bikes, trailers, gear hire — if you take bookings and money in NZ, the same GST and bond headaches show up. Glovebox is shaped around that.
- Do customers stay on my website?
- Yes. You embed the widget on your site. Availability, pricing, and confirmations run in Glovebox behind it.
- How do payments work?
- Windcave is the primary path for NZ card flows. Stripe Connect sits alongside where it suits your setup. Bonds and hire charges follow local expectations.
- Does it handle GST properly?
- Yes. NZD pricing, GST on charges, and the odd cases like bonds and RUC are handled the way NZ operators expect, not the way a US SaaS manual guesses.
- Can I leave spreadsheets or VEVS?
- Yes, but plan for a migration window. Import what you need, run the next season of hires in Glovebox, and expand into reporting when you are ready.
- What happens after the trial?
